Our Bourgogne Aligoté 2022 La Vigne de Marie-Louise wins a Bronze medal!
This year, the Grand Auxerrois wine competition, sponsored by chef Blanche Loiseau, awarded 57 medals using a new scoring system:
“We realised that the scoring system was no longer necessarily appropriate and that too many medals were being awarded, explains Élodie Chalmeau, co-president of the competition. This year we’re going to base ourselves on the Chablis wine competition system, with nominees and a super-jury. A single bronze, silver or gold medal will be awarded.”
The first jury, made up of restaurateurs, journalists, wine merchants and enlightened wine lovers, is responsible for shortlisting the wines, which are then passed on to the super-jury, made up of a dozen people including this year’s godmother Blanche Loiseau, for a second tasting.
